Cowboy Boot-Inspired Crocs Have Been Introduced
“It seems that Crocs, known for their ‘sorry-not-sorry that I’m ugly’ foam clogs, has taken an even stranger turn, this time embracing a touch of the Wild West.
On Thursday, Crocs introduced something that was previously beyond imagination: the Crocs cowboy boot, complete with spurs and all.
But should we credit Taylor Swift for this unexpected twist?
Interestingly, it was the company’s own fanbase that inspired this creation.
“For years, the excitement surrounding a Crocs-inspired cowboy boot has been steadily growing, fueled by passionate fans sharing their enthusiasm on social media. Recognizing this fervor, Crocs is fulfilling the dreams of its fans by bringing the Crocs Classic Cowboy Boot to life,” the company stated in a press release.
If you’re eager to snag a pair, you’ll have to wait a few more days. This shiny croc-embossed, western-stitched boot is set to launch on October 23, with a price tag of $120. Notably, the boot comes complete with a spinning spur charm attached to the backstrap of the shoe.”
“The Crocs cowboy boot will be accessible online and for a limited duration at Crocs retail outlets.
Crocs strategically launched the cowboy boot during “Croctober,” the month of October, which has become a tradition for the brand to offer unique variations of its footwear inspired by its dedicated fan base.
During the pandemic, Crocs evolved into an unofficial symbol of comfort, transcending its earlier appearance-based mockery. Consumers began wearing Crocs with a wide range of outfits, from pajamas to formal attire.
Furthermore, well-known figures such as Post Malone and Justin Bieber have publicly endorsed and worn Crocs.
In September, Crocs introduced a new variant of their shoe, known as the Shrek Croc. This model features a green, freckled appearance, although there are no reports of it smelling like onions.”
